I was at a bookstore today and picked up a copy of Witch magazine and read your article and thought I would check out your blog. Interesting synchronicity that the pirate comment is the first thing I see--I sort of have a thing for pirates. I enjoyed the article and could relate to the need to find a medatative space in the midst of an urban world (I live in Phoenix and don't get out of the city as much as I like or should). Pagan community is pretty big in Tucson, but not so much in Phoenix--sort of a weird, cowboy, wanna-be-a-big-city town. Anyway, thought I'd say hi and tell you I stopped in.
