I just read a rather lengthy blog post about generational differences in the workplace (Generation Y Blog). And then I read your post. I must say I enjoyed your comments a lot more. They're much more authentic and at the same time nuanced. Your reflections about your natuaral attitude towards technology points out one of the obvious strenths of a whole lot of people in your generation. But, while you are saying you take pride in your skills, which you should, you did not go into a jag about the lack of savviness amongst older co-workers. This leads me to wonder where all of this talk about intergenerational conflict is coming from?

I'd be interested in exploring this issue.
